i was asked to be part of the great benefit show, put on by brooklyns own shaping son rick malwitz. he made 24 surfboard mid-drifts and send them all over the world for people to creat on or in my case around...

the boards will be on display in the quicksilver soho store starting tomorrow for a week and there will be a show and opening on october 3rd at the 303 gallery in williamsburg.

if you are around surf-aid could sure use the support and if you see rick, thank him for putting all of this together. he was and is tireless. sleep is over-rated. plus shaping when you are shit tired is good for you...

Saturday august 15th Dano surfboards, the newest addition to the lightly salted family will be making a stop along the road with some new boards for the shop, and possibly some we can try?.?.. also in tow will be the newest shipment from the captain, of the captain fin company. and some of the spankiest new raen eyewear. the tents will be up around 2. the boards will be there, sailor jerry will be serving $3 rum punches. music, fun and a bit of everything...

dusk brings the showing of the white lotus dano movies shot by steve rogers, who will be in the house with some promo stuff. then we show captain fin companys newest film "you scratched my anchor" on the boards saturday night. shake your scurvy for the night and get down to asbury. here is some pics to wet the whistle...
